W piątek 24 sierpnia 2018 roku, pojechaliśmy na wycieczkę do Niedzicy. Pogoda była wprost wymarzona na taki wyjazd. Zaczęliśmy od rejsu statkiem ,,Harnaś’’ po jeziorze Czorsztyńskim z pokładu której można podziwiać okoliczne zabytki zarówno architektury jak i przyrody takie jak: Zamek Dunajec w Niedzicy, zamek w Czorsztynie, Zaporę Wodną w Niedzicy, skansen na półwyspie Stylchen, Zielone Skałki, Pieniński Park Narodowy oraz wiele innych. Następnie udaliśmy się na pyszny obiad do restauracji , można było też zakupić sobie pamiątki i oscypki. Potem przeszliśmy do Zamku w Niedzicy gdzie zwiedzaliśmy piękny obiekt architektoniczny.Zamek w Niedzicy – został zbudowany w latach 1320-1330 przez landgrafów spiskich z rodu Berzeviczych, by strzec traktu handlowego łączącego Węgry z Polską. Z zamkiem w Niedzicy los obszedł się łaskawiej niż z pobliskim zamkiem w Czorsztynie i do dzisiejszych czasów pozostał w nienaruszonym stanie. Obecnie właścicielem Zamku jest Stowarzyszenie Historyków Sztuki. Znajduje się tam Dom Pracy Twórczej, w którym wydzielono miejsce na restaurację i mały hotelik. Górne piętra Zamku to część muzealna.A potem ruszyliśmy w drogę powrotną do Gdowa, gdzie na naszych podopiecznych czekali członkowie ich rodzin. Była to bardzo ciekawa i niezapomniana wycieczka.
