Słoneczna pogoda sprzyja rekreacji, dlatego w czwartek 16 sierpnia 2018 r. wybraliśmy się na Gdowskie Błonia by wziąć udział w pikniku. Mieliśmy okazję zwiedzić rozbudowany scatepark, stanowiący obszar strefy rekreacyjno-turystycznej nad rzeką Rabą. Znajduje się tam nowo otwarta siłownia terenowa, wyposażona w wiele urządzeń sportowych przeznaczonych dla miłośników aktywnego wypoczynku m.in.: wioślarz, orbitrek, prasa nożna, surfer, twister, stepper, małe kółka tai – chi, jeździec konny, ławka pozioma i wyciąg górny. Nasi podopieczni chętnie korzystali z siłowni, która okazała się atrakcyjną formą spędzania wolnego czasu i mobilizuje do aktywizacji ruchowej. Niektóre osoby skorzystały z oferty gastronomicznej i wybrały się na kawę do pobliskiej restauracji „Szałas” i ,,Grosik,,. W czasie pikniku podopieczni naszego ośrodka mieli również okazję zagrania w piłkę nożną, tenisa stołowego, śpiewania piosenek i zjedzenia kiełbasy upieczonej na nowo zakupionym grillu.
